We are seeking an exceptional Risk & Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Finotive Group. This is a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the full risk exposure of our proprietary trading business. As the key risk professional, you will work closely with senior management, bridge providers such as Centroid, and our liquidity partners to ensure robust and effective risk decisions.

Your role will go beyond monitoring risk exposure — you will be the primary technical point of contact for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting all connections between our trading platforms and bridge providers. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless connectivity and execution, and in resolving any technical issues that arise to maintain a stable and efficient trading environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily risk exposure and position management across all funded trader accounts, including thorough reviews of challenges, payouts, and any potential collusion or suspicious activities.
• Manage risk parameters within MetaTrader 5 Manager and MetaTrader Administrator, ensuring optimal configurations and proactive adjustments as needed.
• Set up and maintain connections between our trading platforms and bridge providers like Centroid, ensuring stable connectivity and seamless trade routing.
• Collaborate with liquidity providers and external risk partners to align risk decisions with market realities and ensure best execution practices.
• Conduct advanced data analysis to detect suspicious trading patterns, fraudulent behaviour, or anomalies that could impact the firm’s profitability or reputation.
• Develop, refine, and implement robust risk monitoring frameworks and KPIs that deliver real-time insights into trader activity and account performance.
• Maintain and evolve risk protocols to meet changing market conditions and business needs.
• Deliver regular risk reports and ad hoc analyses to senior management, driving strategic decision-making and ensuring proactive risk management.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the proprietary trading industry, with a deep understanding of the business model, trader psychology, and typical risk exposures.
• Expert-level knowledge of MetaTrader 5 Manager and Administrator, including advanced configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with bridge providers such as Centroid, including the ability to set up and maintain technical connections and ensure reliable trade routing and execution.
• Proven experience liaising with third-party liquidity providers and risk partners, building strong relationships that support operational excellence.
• Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or similar to build risk models and detect fraudulent or suspicious activities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented approach to risk management with the ability to identify emerging risks and implement robust preventive measures.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex risk and technical concepts clearly and work effectively with colleagues across the business.

Desirable

• Experience implementing risk controls in high-volume proprietary trading environments.
• Familiarity with KYC, AML, and fraud detection processes.
• Experience with trade reconciliation and performance reporting in complex trading setups.
